Bangkok, Thailand - map

Located in the green zone of the Bang Nampheung region of Greater Bangkok, the Bangkok Tree House and its organic restaurant opened in 2012. The hotel offers 11 unique accommodations inspired by bird nests and overlooking the Chao Phraya River. Surrounded by mangrove palms, coconut plantations and singing cicadas, Bangkok Tree House is only accessible by foot, boat or bike.

The hotel was mainly constructed with locally sourced bamboo and recycled materials. At the Bangkok Tree House, all outdoors lighting are powered by wind and solar energy, food waste are composted, all cleaning material are organic and 2.2 pounds of trash are removed from Chao Phraya River for every booking made. Most of the products and produce used in the hotel and in the restaurant come from local sellers and are organic.
