Modica, Italy - map

Casa Talìa is a fascinating place, an island on the island, where harmony reigns supreme due to the detailed restoration made by the two owners, Marco Giunta and Viviana Haddad - a young married couple of architects from Milan – who decided to live there and follow the "slow living" philosophy. The structure is composed of small houses, restored with traditional Sicilian materials, framing a Mediterranean garden.

Great attention has been given to the choice of materials, which are natural, ecological, and, above all, typical of the Sicilian tradition: stone walls, lime plasters, cane roof, stone and polychrom tiled floors. In the morning, you will be able to enjoy your breakfast in the garden overlooking the old city of Modica and you will taste fresh fruit juices and homemade jams made from the figgs and plums that grow in the garden.
