Instants d’Absolu is situated in a confidential location in the south of the Regional Natural Park of Auvergne Volcanoes on the Cézallier volcanic plateau. Surrounded by a primary pine tree forest and isolated at the edge of a poetic mountain lake, the Ecolodge offers 12 personalized rooms. As simple as cozy, they comply with the spirit of the surroundings, close to Nature, creating that atmosphere needed to forge souvenirs between lake, forest and volcano. Beyond the alpaca throws and fur curtains designed by Pierre Frey or trunks of yesteryear wardrobes, the real luxury lies just beyond the door: an overwhelming nature. An awe-inspiring Spa overlooks the lake in harmony with the surrounding environment.
The Three-hundred-year old farm renovation was made in full respect of the environment, using mainly ecological materials and sustainable practices. In the restaurant, the Chef uses exclusively raw seasonal products, in partnership with regional producers engaged in nature-friendly farming. Breakfast is based on local products: homemade marmalade from Allanche (7 km away), fresh farm butter and cheese. For dinner, he prepares with care a delicious cuisine, conceived as a window on Nature. In the lodge’s bio-garden (no pesticide, no nature-bashing) he especially caters green beans and chard, grown directly on site.
