Located a short walk from the village of Cucuron in the heart of the Luberon National Park, Le Pavillon de Galon is a 18threstored century hunting pavilion, surrounded by vines, orchards, cherry and olive trees. It offers 2 guest rooms set on the first floor of the main house, with views over gardens to the South, private entrance and terraces. This region is considered as the genuine, real and timeless Provence and provides the perfect base from which to explore Provence and the Midi.
Le Pavillon de Galon is a traditional 18th century construction. With thick stonewalls and shuttered windows, the house protects the inhabitants from the heat of the Provençal summer sun and keeps the interiors naturally cool. The large natural pool is fed by fresh mountain springs. The water is naturally clean, and no chemical treatments are employed. Le Pavillon de Galon run cooking classes several times per season, covering classical Provençal heritage and revisited dishes. All products used are locally sourced, and organically produced. Many ingredients come from their own garden, which was awarded as a “Remarkable Garden” by the French Ministry of Culture and Environment. Wine tasting can be also organized in the house or in the various domains of the region. You will be able to discover Hocus Pocus AOC Luberon, which they produce from their own vineyards.
