Sextantio Albergo Diffuso is located in the village of Santo Stefano di Sessanio, just one and half hours from Rome, in the Abruzzo region. A series of historic buildings has been restored thanks to Daniele Kihlgren, a Swedish-Italian entrepreneur who is also the owner of Sextantio le Grotte della Civita. He is entirely committed to conservative restoration and his wish was to maintain the traditional local aesthetic and architecture of the village. The 27 rooms are spread throughout Santo Stefano di Sessanio and offer all the modern technology. Guests will live an authentic experience in an historic and charming Italian village.
Sextantio Albergo Diffuso was restored and designed respecting the original architecture and local materials such as terracotta tiles, wood and limestone. The rooms have been tastefully decorated with authentic furniture and textiles from the mountains of Abruzzo. The restaurant offers local produce from the Abbruzzo region. Most of the ingredients are produced just next to the village.
