Located in Harads, a remote village of Northern Sweden about 60 km south of the arctic circle - Tree Hotel is currently consisting of five rooms. The project was conceived by Kent Lindvall, a former guidance counselor, and his wife Britta. The idea behind Treehotel is to offer high-standard accommodation in a harmonious place where daily stress melts away. Guests can relax and renew their energy while surrounded by unspoiled nature.
A very important part of the concept is to consider ecological values and make minimal environmental impact. For this reason they devote considerable resources to finding sustainable construction and energy solutions. The restaurant located in the Brittas Pensionat serves nothing but local fare, with produce from the woods and mountains. Each room has been designed in harmony with nature by different architects so that each room is unique. A good book, a magical view and stylish accommodation are enough to create the feeling Treehotel is all about.
